SATA...WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

The SATA term stands for Serial Advanced Technology Attachment. It is the next standard for pc devices with the current specs SATA 2 having a data transfer rate of 3Gbits/second. That should keep the data moving quite nicely in your pc. If your planning to buy a new Hard Drive get a SATA drive. You wont believe the speed and they are extremely easier to install and hookup with a motherboard built after 2005.
